Dolly Parton Pulls Out Of Rock Hall Nomination

Country legend and humanitarian Dolly Parton has officially rejected her Rock Hall nomination. Taking a brave step, the singer/songwriter made a brief statement on why she made the decision. Informing the masses that she feels that she, ‘hasn’t earned it.’ Which I take to mean that she feels she isn’t rock and wants to honor the name of the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.’

RIP Taylor Hawkins – 2/17/72 – 3/25/22

The rock and music world was struck hard this past weekend. By the shocking news that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has unexpectedly died at the untimely age of 50. The Foo Fighters were on tour in South America when the drummer was pronounced dead on the evening of March 25th. It’s a major major loss in a world that has already and is continually losing so much.

R.I.P. Johnny ‘Z’ Zazula – 3/16/52 – 2/01/22

The heavy metal world lost a true giant last week on Feb 1st. Johnny ‘Z’ Zazula, founder of Megaforce records, passed away due to complications from COPD, osteopenia and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy. He truly was one of the most influential people in all of heavy music.
