Scorpions & Megadeth – Is it Real? It’s Real!

Holy hell in a hand basket! I can’t believe this tour is actually happening. Yesterday, The Scorpions announced a late summer tour dates in the United States with fucking Megadeth! They’re hitting all the major city hubs and have stated that more dates will be added soon! They know this is the perfect time for this duo to tour. And I couldn’t agree fuckin more. One of the best parts? They’re calling it the ‘Crazy World’ tour! Klaus Meine said in a statement: “When our album Crazy World was released back in ’91, right at the end of the cold war, we toured around a world that was pretty crazy back then, but there was so much hope in the air for a more peaceful future. Now 26 years later, things are getting more crazy every other day. After all these years, ‘Crazy World’ is still a good motto for our upcoming world tour. We are very much looking forward to seeing all of you out there.” Do you know what that freakin means?! It means the Scorps are going to most likely be playing their heavier, politically charged songs like ‘Media Overkill’, ‘Alien Nation’ and my favorite song from the band, ‘Crazy World’. I saw the Scorps on their 50th anniversary tour two years ago and I gotta say they fucking killed it. It was a great, diverse set that spanned their entire career. But you can’t play forever and with a catalog as massive as theirs. The result? I missed out on my favorite heavy late 80’s and early 90’s Scorpions tracks. Again, they killed and the show was worth every dime no doubt. But this tour is looking to be something quite special: Inspired and fired up like never before!! Plus they’re taking out thrash and political metal veterans Megadeth! How perfect is that?  Heavy Scorpions and Megadeth in the same night??!!  FUCK YEAH!!

May sound something like this…
